A Note On The Page
Whisper · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Meet me by the lake
Robert Leuschke drew Whisper in the early 1990s, and Google added it in March 2022. It is a calligraphic script, an italic hand with angular strokes and a warm flow between letters, and its capitals do not follow the usual roman models.
The lowercase is very small against those capitals and the whole thing sets narrow. The character set takes in Central European accents and Vietnamese.
Leuschke recommends it where a design wants a firm elegance. A signature line on a letterhead, say, or a monogram, at 32 px or larger.
