Old maps set the names of rivers with a backward lean. Afacad Flux is where Kristian Möller paid tribute to that habit: the variable family adds a back-slanted version in memory of how cartographers lettered rivers, along with more weights and more languages than the first Afacad had.

What you get on this page are the upright static weights, 9 of them from Thin to Black.

The roots are the same as Afacad’s. In 2017 Möller drew house numbers for the entrances of Slagskeppet’s buildings in Sweden, fitted to the 1940s architecture of Sture Elmén, and the alphabet came after. The figures got attention first and it shows in the kit, tabular and proportional, a slashed zero, fractions and ordinals, with 4 stylistic sets and Vietnamese on top.

The lowercase is short and the set narrow. For a dashboard that is a fair trade, more numbers per row. For paragraphs give it a size up and some extra leading.
