Rematch in the second half
Anton started life as an old advertising sans. Vernon Adams digitized those letters and then adapted them for the screen, with slightly larger counters and stems adjusted for heavy display use in a browser.
Anton SC is the same design with small caps in place of the lowercase, and Google Fonts published it in May 2024. The small caps here stand almost as tall as the capitals, so a line in mixed case reads close to all caps with a slight step at each capital, a quieter rhythm than plain Anton capitals give.
Language support is wide for a headline face: Western, Central and South-Eastern European, full Vietnamese and African Latin, 978 characters in total.
Run it big across a sports banner or a news headline. Body text is out of the question.
