Homemade jam, 3 jars left
Barrio had only capitals. Barriecito grew out of that project with a lowercase added, drawn by Pablo Cosgaya and Sergio Jiménez at Omnibus-Type.
The letters look deliberately amateur, uneven and homemade, and that unpolished tone is the appeal for a jar of jam with a handwritten price or a billboard for a small bakery. There is more in it than you might expect from a rough face: contextual and stylistic alternates, discretionary ligatures, a slashed zero. On screen, keep it at headline size.
