Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Turn on the stylistic set and the capitals in Beau Rivage grow ornaments while the lowercase picks up extra flourishes. Without it, you get a classic calligraphic hand with sharp contrast between thick and thin strokes. Final forms dress the ends of words, and there are both lining and old style figures, so a date on an invitation can sit low with the text.
The capitals tower over the small letters, more than twice their height, and the script runs narrow. Use it for names, a heading on a dinner menu, a monogram.
Robert Leuschke drew it in 2004, long before it went public on Google Fonts in 2022.
