Stylistic set 2 in Bellota switches on swash capitals. Set 1 goes the other way and calls up plainer text forms. Kemie Guaida drew the family as an ornamented, low contrast sans, and it has a sister, Bellota Text, built around those plainer letters.
3 weights, Light, Regular and Bold, each with an italic, and 803 characters that reach Greek, Cyrillic and Vietnamese. That language reach is uncommon in a decorative face, and it lets a menu run in Greek and English, or Russian and English, without changing fonts. Google added it in January 2020.
Headings and menus, yes. A long paragraph, no, even with set 1 switched on.
