A Note On The Page
Bilbo · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Try Bilbo on a paragraph before filing it with the display scripts. Robert Leuschke meant this calligraphic hand to be very legible, and he says outright that it can carry body copy when a message wants some warmth, a thank you letter, say, or the back label of a bottle. He also gave it a masculine feel, which is unusual in a pen script and keeps it from going frilly.
The single Regular holds 451 characters for Western and Central European languages and Vietnamese. Swashes and stylistic alternates are in the OpenType set with 1 stylistic set, so a heading can be dressed up while the running text stays plain.
It is narrow and the small letters are short. Give it 18 px or more on screen and a generous line height.
