Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Cheap newsprint and the habits of periodicals shaped Brawler. Oleg Frolov and Haley Fiege at Cyreal planned it for newspapers and tabloids, so the serifs are sharp, the build is compact and sturdy, and it was meant to stay comfortable at the small sizes a news column runs at.
Regular and Bold, basic Latin, with fractions and ordinals.
Would it work on a news website? We think so, at text size in the article body, with the Bold on the headlines above.
