A Note On The Page

Delius Unicase · Regular

A short letter, set in the family.

Thursday afternoon

Dear Alex,

I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.

See you there.

Unicase is the comic strip version of Delius. Upper and lowercase forms are mixed into a single case, so whatever you type comes out as lettering that sits at a single height, the way a letterer fills a speech bubble. It is wide, and it comes in Regular and Bold, with the companion families Delius and Delius Swash Caps for when a page needs normal lowercase or a fancier initial.

The stroke copies a marker with a round tip, swelling at both ends where the tip lands and lifts. Natalia Raices had the movements follow handwriting.

Kerning is the only OpenType feature. For a webcomic or a kids’ game menu that is enough.
