Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Petals clear as rain
Diphylleia grayi is a flower whose petals turn transparent when water touches them, and it gave its name to a song by Jonghyun of SHINee. Minha Hyung of JAMO built this typeface on the song’s motif, trying to carry its sentimental lyrics and the image of a flower fading from view, and put those impressions into brush-style strokes.
It is a Korean serif with Latin, 1 Regular style, and 3 stylistic sets hold alternates. Lyric cards and poetry are the natural fit. We would not set a contract in it.
