Fried chicken at the door

Old Korean shop signs were often made by cutting letters out of acrylic panels along ruled lines, and that is where Do Hyeon starts. In the font the consonant and vowel strokes join up, and certain consonants such as ㅅ, ㅈ and ㅎ change shape depending on the vowel that follows them.

It belongs to Woowa Brothers, the company behind the food delivery app Baedal Minjok, or Baemin, as 1 of its BM brand fonts. Sandoll produced it in 2015, and it came to Google Fonts in February 2018 on the same day as 2 other Woowa Brothers families, Jua and Kirang Haerang.

1 style with Hangul and Latin. A menu headline, a delivery bag, a poster title.
