The cellar door creaked twice
Typomondo’s own description of Eater is a joke about a rare disease that spreads at night while the web font user sleeps, and that tells you the tone. Under the damage there is a serif construction, and the letters are wide: a word in Eater needs about 40% more room than in Arial, so give it a big canvas.
1 Regular, Latin with the extended accents. A horror film title or a haunted house flyer, and nothing that anyone has to read for long.
