Of all the Fusion Pixel combinations, this one leaves the drawing the least room: the smallest size and the strict grid together. A Hangul syllable gets an 8 pixel square and a Latin letter a strip half as wide, with nothing allowed past the edges.
The Hangul comes from Galmuri7, the 8 px member of Quiple’s Galmuri family, which covers the syllables in Adobe’s KR-0 and KR-1 character sets. Hanja in this ko build follow KS X 1001 and KS X 1002.
TakWolf lists what the monospaced mode gives up. Fewer characters fit, some complex glyphs can not be drawn cleanly, and Latin sits slightly above where the Korean expects it, so running text belongs in the proportional files.
Labels on a tile map or a HUD are its place, scaled only by whole numbers, 2x or 3x, so no pixel gets smeared.
