Home team, bottom of the ninth
Robert Leuschke had baseball in mind. Playball is a script with an athletic swing to it, like the lettering sewn across the front of a team jersey, and its sweeping swashes are there to give that sports look.
Turn the swash feature on and the capitals grow tails. There are also 2 stylistic sets, discretionary ligatures and old-style figures, more than most single-style scripts bother with. The lowercase is small against the capitals and the letters pack in tight, so a long team name will still fit across a chest.
1 style. Latin for Western and Central Europe plus Vietnamese. On Google Fonts since December 2011.
Set it on a pennant or the cover of a match program, and if the name gets long, try the alternates before you shrink the size.
