Sarah Cadigan-Fried made the Soft Type Collection for knitters, so they can chart letters into a sweater or a hat before they cast on. Jersey is the sporty sans of that collection, and the 15 in the name is the height of its capital letters on the chart. Other sizes in the family fit bigger or smaller projects.

Each Jersey size comes in 2 versions. This Regular gives you the letters themselves; Jersey 15 Charted puts them on a grid you can count stitches from.

Off the needles it works as a compact, blocky display face for team graphics. It has tabular figures, so a row of player numbers lines up.
