Sarah Cadigan-Fried’s Soft Type Collection turns lettering into something you can work in yarn, and every typeface in it comes twice, a Regular and a Charted version. This is the Charted Jersey, where the letters show up as a grid you can count off stitch by stitch onto a sweater or a scarf.
The 25 in the name is the height of the capitals, so a knitter can tell at a glance how many rows a word will take. A plain Jersey 25 exists for when you only want the look. Cadigan-Fried recommends 30 pt or more for this style so it stays clear.
