A Note On The Page
Just Another Hand · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Brian J. Bonislawsky has had several handwritings over the years, and this is the high school one.
He works as Astigmatic, and he owns up to 1 liberty with it. He never wrote with a brush in high school. For the font he drew the stroke with one anyway, because he wanted something cleaner than the original.
His type work started in summer 1996 with a freeware font called ChickenScratch, and he came to it with no formal schooling, picking things up from contacts at Bitstream and from designers he met at TypeCon. He has said every typeface of his begins as sketches on paper before it is digitized.
Just Another Hand reached Google Fonts on December 20, 2010, in a batch (Ubuntu, Merriweather, Cabin and Mountains of Christmas came with it) that nearly doubled the size of what was then the Google Font Directory.
It needs about half the width Arial would take for the same words, so a long phrase fits on a jar label or a sticky note on a mockup. 1 Regular style.
