A Note On The Page

Love Light · Regular

A short letter, set in the family.

Thursday afternoon

Dear Alex,

I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.

See you there.

Forever starts today

Hearts hang off some of the strokes in Love Light. Robert Leuschke worked them into a calligraphic script he adapted from his own earlier hand lettering, and the font files go back to 2003, long before it reached Google Fonts.

It is very narrow, with a tiny lowercase under tall capitals, so it needs size: a name on a card, a 2 or 3 word line on a box of chocolates. Leuschke, who started lettering at Hallmark in 1983, sells it alongside other romantic scripts of his under the TypeSETit name. Old style figures and an alternate set are included.
