One Family
Every available style is shown below in its own font file.

Flemish and Walloon schools teach different joined hands, and the split runs along the language border, a divide with roots going back to the Middle Ages. Children everywhere in the country learn print letters in kindergarten and move on to joined writing in primary school. In Flanders the joined hand is a sloped, continuous cursive close to the Dutch models; in the French-speaking Walloon region it is upright, the way it is often taught in France.
VLG stands for Vlaanderen, so this is the Flemish one. It is the Guides companion to Playwrite België Vlaanderen, with lines for the baseline, x-height, ascenders and descenders running through every character except the spacing ones.
Teachers get a handy extra. Type underscores and you get only the guidelines, each as wide as a word space, for empty practice rows below a model line.
