A Note On The Page
Mali · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

A 6th grader’s handwriting is behind Mali. Cadson Demak, with Kitiyaporn Chalermlarp as designer, turned it into a Thai and Latin family that keeps the carefree, slightly naive feel of a kid’s notebook.
What is unusual is how far they took it. There are 6 weights, Extra Light to Bold, each with an italic, Vietnamese included alongside Thai and Latin. That is enough to set a whole children’s book or a comic in it, with real hierarchy between headings and text.
