The dragon sleeps beneath Thornwall

Romanesque, Gothic and the more familiar Renaissance letters all went into the mix for Metamorphous, and James Grieshaber stirred them together freely.

His starting points were display fonts: Morpheous, a free font by Kiwi Media, and the work of Jonathan Barnbrook. The contrast is medium, the letters are wide and the lowercase is big, so it holds up better at modest sizes than you might expect from something this decorative. Grieshaber meant it for a broad range of sizes and it covers most languages written in Latin letters. Sorkin Type published it, and it reached Google Fonts in December 2011.

Fantasy novels and tabletop games will want it. 1 style, no OpenType extras, so what you type is what you get.
