Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Letters left on the desk
Kousuke Nagai drew New Tegomin on a square grid, and then let a little handwriting in. The structure comes from Mincho, the Japanese serif, with its clean and well-ordered look; the strokes borrow some of the organic feel of letters written by hand. The mix gives a page of it a gentler voice than a standard Mincho.
There are 7,074 characters in the single Regular, kanji and kana with a Latin to go with them. We’d use it for essays or a poetry collection, places where a slightly personal tone helps.
