About 9,000 people use Buhid, also called Mangyan Baybayin or Surat Mangyan. It writes the Buhid language of the Mangyan people in the Mindoro region of the Philippines, side by side with the Filipino Latin alphabet, and the font carries a Latin set for exactly that pairing.
Noto Sans Buhid maps the 30 characters of the Unicode block, left to right, in a single Regular from Monotype’s design team. A small font for a small community, and for the linguists and teachers who work with it.
