Bodoni stands in the background of Oranienbaum, seen through the type of the first quarter of the 20th century: pronounced serifs, strong contrast, right angles set against flowing lines. Oleg Pospelov drew it, and Jovanny Lemonad acted as art director, technical engineer and publisher.
The designers say it handles headlines and body text both. We would hold back on the text. With that much contrast and a single Regular, it reads best a few sizes up, on a book jacket or a theater program, with Latin and Cyrillic both available and kerning as the only feature.
