Severin Meyer pictured Oxanium on the head-up display of a spaceship and on a video game scoreboard, and the shapes follow from that: square bowls, straight sides, corners cut off at an angle. He kept the strokes plain enough to read in a quick glance at small sizes, and let the angled cuts carry the big headlines.
It comes in 7 weights, Extra Light at 200 through Extra Bold at 800, all upright. A slashed zero is available as an OpenType feature, which matters in a game where a 0 next to an O can lose you a round, and there are proportional figures for running text.
Latin and Latin Extended, 357 characters. For a stats panel or the menus of an indie game we would pick Medium for labels and keep the Extra Bold for the title screen.
