Sparrows on the windowsill
The lowercase in Passero One is big, and the capitals barely clear it. That is the first thing you notice. The second is that, for a sans with very little contrast, a lot of the shapes recall old style book letters.
Viktoriya Grabowska drew it, and Sorkin Type Co. published it in 2011, the foundry’s first year. Inside the font the design goes by Passero alone; “One” is the suffix it took on Google Fonts.
It is meant for medium text sizes up to large display. 1 Regular, Latin and Latin Extended. We would give it a pull quote or a short intro paragraph.
