Cocktail hour on the Riviera
Art Deco and constructivism both show up in Poiret One, Denis Masharov’s light geometric grotesque. The lines are thin, the construction geometric, and it has a lowercase, though Masharov notes it works well set entirely in capitals too.
He suggests it for large signs, labels, titles and logos, in print or on screen, and for short advertising text where style matters. We would keep it large; the strokes are too fine for small sizes. Cyrillic is included, which makes it a natural pick for a Russian brand that wants an Art Deco look.
