Every character in Rampart One is drawn as an outline with a shadow cut into it, so the strokes read as solid 3D blocks stacked on the page, and Fontworks did that for the whole Japanese set, thousands of kanji included. The file holds 8,231 characters. Doing the same for a Latin alphabet is a small job by comparison.
Fontworks wanted it to feel strong and stable, a face for impact. Use it that way, big, a few words on a banner or a sale sign. Small sizes would fill in the shadows. Latin and Cyrillic come along in the same style, which helps with a bilingual poster.
