Rubik, run through a filter until it looks dirty. That is the method behind Rubik Dirt: NaN and Luke Prowse wrote code that takes the outlines of Rubik and roughs them up, so the grime comes from a script and the letters underneath are still Rubik, the family by Hubert and Fischer, Meir Sadan and Cyreal, Hebrew and Cyrillic included.
It belongs to the Rubik “Filtered” set, and the generator is published as Glyph-Filters if you want to see how it works.
Because the texture eats into the shapes, we would not set it small. On a gig poster or a T-shirt it is fine, and the figures, fractions and slashed zero carried over from Rubik mean prices and dates come out right.
