Notes on a quiet afternoon
Vernon Adams made Shanti for web browsers, on desktops, laptops and phones alike, and kept it plain for that job: a straightforward sans with nothing much to argue about.
An update in September 2023 widened the character set, added fractions and made a few small changes to the shapes. It is still a single Regular, with 2 stylistic sets. Fine for body copy on a simple site, though you will want a second family the moment you need bold.
