Songs of the monsoon, volume 2

Chembolu Seetharama Sastry took the screen name Sirivennela from his first film, in 1986, and went on to write more than 3,000 Telugu film songs. He died on 30 November 2021. The font that carries his name has a 2021 copyright.

Appaji Ambarisha Darbha, a type designer in Hyderabad, drew it as a script-style Telugu face mainly for headings and subheadings, with text possible at large sizes. Darbha has been making Telugu type for Google Fonts since 2013, starting with families released through Silicon Andhra.

A single Regular, Telugu with Latin. It runs small and narrow, so set it bigger than you would a normal text face. A song title on a poster suits it.
