Swinging saloon doors come to mind with Smokum, a western-inspired slab with some swagger in its step, drawn by Astigmatic in 2011 for headlines that want a loosened-up country feel. The thick and thin strokes are far apart in weight, and the thins are where it gets fragile, so it is best kept at medium to large sizes on screen.

It runs narrow and has 1 Regular style with 368 characters, extended Latin covered. Put it on a barbecue menu or a band’s name, and set the rest of the flyer in something calmer.
