A Note On The Page
Sofia · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Most scripts lean. Sofia stands up straight, and Paula Nazal and Daniel Hernández let its tall capitals swing high over a lowercase only a little over half their height.
It came out of LatinoType, the foundry Hernández and Luciano Vergara set up in Concepción, Chile, in 2008, which now lists more than 300 families. Sofia was 1 of its early releases, from 2011.
1 Regular with basic Latin. Write a shop name or a thank-you line in it and keep the rest of the page in something sober.
