Riccardo De Franceschi took Sonsie One from hand painted shop signs he saw in Munich, and the brush never quite left it. The strokes are heavy, the contrast is moderate, the lowercase is big and leans into whatever letter comes next. Sorkin Type Co published it in 2011 and Google listed it in January 2012.
Set a sentence in it beside Arial and Sonsie One wants about 62% more room. That is a wide script, so count on a few words per line.
There is 1 Regular style, Latin with the extended accents. De Franceschi pitched it at medium to large sizes, and we would go further and keep it to a shop name, a menu heading or the front of a jar.
