Our first camping trip
The copyright on Square Peg starts in 1995, long before Robert Leuschke’s hand reached Google Fonts in 2022. The line is shaky and rough, almost the same weight all round, with the horizontal strokes slightly heavier than the rest.
The small letters are tiny next to the capitals, less than half their height, and the whole hand is very narrow, so a lot of words fit on a line. Leuschke made it for scrapbooks and casual, playful jobs. The Latin covers Western and Central European languages plus Vietnamese, with fractions and superscripts. Write a caption under a holiday photo in it and it looks like it belongs there.
