Yes, the name is the rabbit joke. The project’s own description opens by nodding to a famous bunny.
The script itself is more serious than the name. Robert Leuschke, who founded the TypeSETit foundry near St. Louis and spent nearly 40 years lettering packaging, logos and greeting-card products, drew it as a formal script whose stress stands nearly upright, with clean connections between letters. The copyright runs from 1991, so the design is far older than its 2022 arrival on Google Fonts.
Discretionary ligatures and special forms for the first letter of a word add some variety. The small letters are short and the face is narrow, so give it room vertically and set it large on a card or a label.
