Fresh mangoes, 3 for 2
Swashes turn up where a mechanical sans would never put them, mostly on the capitals, and that is the charm of Supermercado One. James Grieshaber based it on naive industrial lettering, kept the contrast low and the shapes semi geometric, and released it through Sorkin Type.
The foundry’s notes say it works at fairly small sizes and in blocks of text as well as large. We would go along with that for a short menu or a flyer, less so for a long article. 1 Regular with extended Latin, on Google Fonts since November 2011.
