Snowflakes for the winter sweater
The 12 gives the height of the capitals, the number a knitter needs before charting letters onto a sweater or a hat.
Sarah Cadigan-Fried made the Soft Type collection for exactly that, knitters planning lettering projects, and Yarndings is its ornamental member. It mixes classic typographic ornaments with Fair Isle and Nordic knitting patterns and the dingbat fonts of the 1990s. Every design in the collection comes as a Regular, this file, and a Charted version, here Yarndings 12 Charted.
With 93 characters it is more a pattern box than a font for words.
