Akshar is the word for a letter of the alphabet in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and other Indic languages, and Tall Chai gave that name to a sans made for the loud end of typography: titles, statements, headlines, announcements, the intro and outro cards of a video.
Devanagari and Latin share the family and the job. The Latin runs narrow, so an English headline fits a tight column, and the 5 weights run from Light at 300 to Bold at 700. There are 6 stylistic sets and some alternate forms for anyone who wants to vary a title.
Keep it to display sizes, as the makers intended.
