Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Chapter 9: The Glass House
Every curve in Alike Angular has been swapped for straight segments. Sveta Sebyakina drew it in 2009 as the titling partner to her softer Alike, kept the same proportions so the 2 can share a page, and then gave a few capitals, T, Z, M and E, some expressive extras of their own. With Alexei Vanyashin she released it through Cyreal in 2011.
Set the heads in this and the text under them in Alike. At small sizes the faceted bowls blur into ordinary round ones and you lose the point of it. 1 Regular style, Latin with the extended accents, plus case sensitive forms, fractions and ordinals.
