Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Notes toward a longer essay
Spreadsheets came before drawings. For Average, Eduardo Tunni measured the shapes of text typefaces from many historical periods, classical and contemporary, logged the data, and worked out parameters for proportions, color, spacing and the rest. He chose the best values, and only then drew the letters. The name is meant literally.
There is 1 Regular style, enlarged in September 2022 to cover more languages, and a sans sister called Average Sans. Fittingly, it sets a paragraph without calling attention to itself, and for a blog or an essay where 1 weight is enough we have no complaints.
