Headings, labels and running text.
Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Old American Western woodcuts, broadsides and newspaper headlines are what Meredith Mandel had in mind for Chunk, an ultra-bold slab serif, and The League of Moveable Type first published it, exclusively, on its own site.
1 style. In 2014 Tyler Finck added a textured sister, Chunk Five Print, with the same glyphs.
Use it for display. A headline, a poster, a label on a jar; at text sizes the heavy slabs crowd each other.
