Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Wedding on the 12th, all welcome
Headings, posters and invitations, anywhere a handwritten look is wanted: that is the territory for the brush-script Telugu Purushoth Kumar Guttula designed in 2013 and Silicon Andhra made available. The name honors Suravaram Gurajada, whose literature and poetry enriched the Telugu people.
Like Mandali, its sibling from Silicon Andhra, it borrows a Latin from Vernon Adams, this time his Tienne. Appaji Ambarisha Darbha, in Hyderabad, leads the project. 1 Regular style.
