Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Opening night in Jaffa
Hebrew calligraphy sits behind the Hebrew of Suez One, which Michal Sahar, a type designer in Tel Aviv, worked up into a modern serif and then matched with a Latin. She made 1 weight only, for headlines and display lines that want a strong contemporary voice.
Old style figures, stylistic alternates and a stylistic set are tucked into that single Regular. For a bilingual poster or a magazine spread in Hebrew and English, it saves you hunting for 2 faces that happen to agree.
