Tallinn Harbor Days
Olev Soans, an Estonian graphic artist, made a collection of cultural infographic maps, and their lettering is where Johan Kallas and Mihkel Virkus found Ewert. They turned it into a slab serif in the wood type manner, simplified a good deal for screens, with the decorative “ornamental leg” kept on the letters.
It is very wide. A line of it runs close to 50% longer than the same words in Arial, so give it room, a poster headline or a festival banner. 1 Regular, extended Latin, 218 characters.
