Nearly every lowercase letter in Croissant One ends in a long out-stroke that reaches across to the next, so words hang together the way elegant French handwriting does. Eduardo Tunni had Paris in mind, its people and its landscapes, and set that smooth, round lowercase against capitals with a classical build and soft ends.
1 Regular with extended Latin. The letters spread wide, so give it room: a bakery sign or a menu heading, set fairly large.
