Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Glegoo’s small letters are big, close to 4/5 the height of its capitals, with short ascenders and descenders and wide open counters. Eduardo Tunni drew this slab serif that way for reading at very small sizes, where those traits keep letters apart.
Blow it up for a headline and the strokes show a gentle modulation you would miss in text.
In August 2014 the family gained a Bold and a Devanagari set, the Devanagari coming from the Lohit Fonts Project contributors, and the whole family was hinted with ttfautohint. A label or a form in Hindi and English can use 1 face for both.
