Beloved father and teacher
On the tombs of the Recoleta and Chacarita cemeteries in Buenos Aires, lettering artists cut names into bronze, patiently and exactly, and those letters are where Homenaje comes from. The word means tribute in Spanish. Constanza Artigas Preller and Agustina Mingote named it as a modest thanks to those artists.
It is a narrow grotesque with straight, steady strokes, and the narrowness is useful: you get a lot of text into a small width without the letters going weak. 1 style, Latin only, with fractions, superscripts and ordinals. We would use it for headings in a tight editorial column, or for the real thing, a plaque.
