A Note On The Page
Hurricane · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Rob Leuschke has spent close to 4 decades on lettering for packaging, logos and greeting cards, working from his TypeSETit foundry near St. Louis, and Hurricane reads like it: a quick, spirited brush script, drawn with a high-end advertising page in mind. The design dates back to 2016, 5 years before it went open source.
Out of the box the capitals are closer to Roman forms, sober enough to start a word without a fuss. Switch on the Script stylistic set and they turn into flourished uppercase with much more sweep. That 1 setting is the most useful thing to know about the font. There are 4 more stylistic sets and a run of contextual alternates besides.
The letters are narrow and the lowercase small, so give it size. A headline, the front of a card, a scrapbook title. Western and Central European languages and Vietnamese are covered.
