Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

A line of Imbue takes about a third less width than the same words in Georgia. Tyler Finck drew it as a condensed didone for special occasions, crisp and curvy, and the variable version has 2 axes, weight and optical size. This download holds 9 static weights from Thin to Black.
Small caps, old style figures, discretionary ligatures and a slashed zero are all in. Set the Thin and Light large, on a magazine cover or a theater program where didone hairlines can show, and keep the Black for posters. Etcetera Type Company publishes it.
